Vicuña wool is native to region, golden in color, and highly priced for its quality, beauty, and scarcity. It's the most luxurious fiber in the world and its fiber is among the finest with a micron count measuring only 12 to 13 microns. Our soft and luxurious scarfs, shawls, and sweaters are the result of a partnership with PIACENZA S.P.A., an Italian company with a tradition of almost 300 years in the industry of noble fibers. AIQ represents 30 families from the Cololo community, a community that lives in the Bolivian Andes.
